Amanda and I decided to take a weekend trip up to New York to see a show! It was very cold but very worth it. I’d say it was about 20-25 degrees most of the time, but luckily there was a starbucks on every corner so we could duck in and warm up. I took some pictures at night of Times Square, and that was probbaly not the greatest idea, since it was down into the teens by then. I got some decent shots, but nothing amazing. The play we ended up seeing was “The Color Purple” with Chaka Kahn, Bebe Winans and LaKisha Jones (from American Idol). We were trying to see Wicked, but it was sold out for weeks, but it turns out that The Color Purple is Awesome! So yeah, the trip was great, and I can’t wait to go back.

Grey’s 30th Birthday at Bahama Breeze. This was awesome, pretty much everybody showed up and we had a blast. It was catered and we had an entire section blocked off just for the party. Though it was January, it didn’t really feel like it with all the beach drinks and shrimp and a of course, the guy on steel drums! There are a bunch of funny moments, but there is one that will soon be famous… towards the end of the night, Dave is trying to dance with grey, for like 2-3 minutes he keeps on, and eventually she gets slightly… lets say… “over” that idea.
